Storvreta IBK junior Jakub Faksa is currently playing at the Euro Floorball Tour for the Czech MU19 team. After their win against Switzerland yesterday he gave us an update.
What where your expectations going into the EFT?
“It is our first international event, so we are going through the tournament as a group and enjoy every second here,” he tells us.
So you started the EFT with a win against Switzerland, tell us about it.
“We wanted to be active and put pressure on the ball every time. I think we’ve played a pretty good game but we need to work more on details and focus on next game.”
What goals do you have with the EFT?
“Our goal is to be better as a team and as I said work on details, because it is the international level and we are playing against the best teams in the world.”
Up next at the EFT you face Sweden today, what are your expectations?
“I think it’s going to be a really difficult game for us. Sweden belongs to best teams every year and I hope we are going to be good opponent for Sweden. I am looking forward to the game.”
Beyond the EFT how are things going for you with Storvreta IBK?
“In Storvreta everything is going well, I am enjoying every moment in Sweden and I am so excited for the future,” Jakub Faksa concluded.
